July Sketch Challenge Week 1

We have a nice easy sketch for you to play with this month - you can interpret it how you like, flip it, rotate it, use it for a page layout or a card or even a piece of artwork.  The shapes can be interpreted too (as you will see from our examples).  We just need to see that you used the sketch as the jumping off point for your inspiration.  As always you must use AT LEAST ONE product from the items we sell in store to be eligible for comments and the chance to win the £20 store voucher prize.

Here are a few examples from our DT to get your started.  The rest of the team will be back over the next couple of weeks with more inspirations and reminders to play along.

Jenny

I have rotated the sketch and used I'll be Brief from Lil'inkers, MFT Cloud Stencil and a speech
bubble from Lawn Fawn's A Birdie Told Me die set

Taheerah rotated the sketch and used the Neat & Tangled Seeing Stars die to impress a pattern into the cardstock. She used dies from the Concord & 9th Double Cut Alphabet and Numbers die sets for the sentiment. The stripes are from the Concord & 9th Love Always stamp set.

Tara
flipped the sketch using Hero Arts Color Laying Koala, with Altenew Rock Inks,
Mama Elephant's Birch Trees  and MFT's Wild Greenery

You've got until 10pm on Tuesday 25th July to play along - just link up using the linky tool on our challenge page when ready.  You can play along as many times as you like, and combine with other challenges as long as we can still see our sketch!
